I'm reporting in case this would be related to the new TerminationHandler used by TeXShop 4.22, as per the Changes.pdf document.Īnd for those with whom I haven't been in contact these last few days: Happy New Year! I've observed the above with both LuaTeX and XeteX, not pdfTeX, but that may just be a coincidence. The above isn't a clean way to proceed for sure, but so far (IIRC) it did not create any problem with TeXShop. One detailed crash report is pasted below. Terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSFileHandleOperationException', reason: '*** -: Resource temporarily unavailable' In "Application Specific Information", then Performing from sender NSButton 0圆00002c7f7b0 Performing from sender NSMenuItem 0圆00000e7d620 In these cases, the crash report always contains either of Several times today I've experienced crashes, when a XeTeX or LuaTeX typeset operation stops because of a LaTeX error (like a \begin), then the error is corrected in the editor window and the typeset relaunched without properly canceling the previous typeset operation first (by typing "x" say in the Console window). Well, unfortunately a late paper review to finalize got me to perform some testing involuntarily. > This is New Years and I don't expect folks to test over the Holidays.
